  This boardwalk consists of many beach stores, restaurants, and hotels/houses. It even has a beach! There's still casinos, but not many... I would've given 5 stars, but in case you didn't know hobos are under the boardwalk, sleeping and living there! That makes me very uncomfortable, but other than that, I would recommend you visit during the summer! :-D

  Despite our better judgement, we drove 100 miles to visit Atlantic City on a cold Sunday in Jan, and the place looked like a ghost town, deserted. Even many of the paid-parking lots were closed. The broadwalk itself was pretty good, although had a deserted look as well. Most of the shops at its southern end were closed, and the ones near the casinos were open. It was nothing like the carnival like atmosphere that one would expect or would read about.
  Winter is definitely not the time to visit Atlantic City.
